I joined Croft and Oakes in 2023 following a successful 18 year career in teaching, latterly as head of mathematics at several local schools. I am passionate about supporting others and helping them to achieve their goals whether that has been students learning maths or helping clients plan holistically to achieve a financially strong and secure future. Although my career has now taken a different direction, I feel the skills I gained in teaching will allow me to unravel the complexities of financial planning and help clients understand and achieve their financial goals.
I have already passed several Chartered Insurance Institute exams in my journey to become fully qualified and I hope to have achieved this in the very near future. My long term goal is to continue to study and achieve Chartered Financial Planner status.
My husband and I have one son and we live on a small holding where we have horses, dogs, a couple of sheep and too many chickens! My main hobby is horse riding and I enjoy competing in both dressage and show jumping. My proudest achievement was coming 9th at the National Dressage championships on a horse I had trained myself. More recently to support my son I have become involved in a number of sports including skiing, rugby and I am now one of the 5–8-year-old cricket coaches at Worfield cricket club.
